Owen Powen's Big Four

I love this squishy kid. His hugs are the best. He really loves me, in fact, he proposed once. I had to teach about the whole, "can't marry your family" thing and he then proposed to the cute girl who babysits him instead. She was flattered. Really, Owen is a joy. He is funny, happy, a little quirky, and very tough. He loves his brothers. About a month ago, he came up to me and said,
"Hey Mom, I get it...it's all about families." It kind of came out of nowhere, but I had to smile and agree. It is all about families, what else in this whole world is more important than that?
O turned four last Tue. I still haven't gotten him out for his four-year pictures, but I plan on trying that sometime this week. His favorite things are: Super Mario Bros, Garfield, Starwars, (the shows and the toys!) cooking, (he is right there beside me for every meal...he is even good at cracking eggs!) making funny faces, telling funny jokes, playing on Daddy's phone, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, getting the mail, preschool, taking baths, coloring pictures and playing soccer.
His least favorite things are: vegetables (more than any other child on the planet), fruit (weird!), too much attention, brushing his teeth, cleaning the playroom, quiet time and I think that's about it actually. He's a pretty easy-going kid. He loves his brothers and is usually sweet to Ellie, although she does pester him a bit and he'll shove her away if the situation calls for it.

Dan made a video of the morning and I know it's long, so for those of you who'd like the condensed version of his fun day, I'll post the pictures too. We love you Owen Powen!!

And here are the pictures!
