Thankful

I love this time of year. I haven't been able to spend time posting like I want to, but I have really been enjoying the colors and weather! Thanksgiving is Dan's favorite holiday. He won't let us put up any decorations or listen to Christmas music until the day after Thanksgiving because he feels like it gets over looked too often. I can't argue with him on this one, I think taking time to be thankful for everything we have is very important. I know that sometimes I get going with so many things, it's easy to forget my blessings. Who is it that said, 'you don't know what you have till it's gone?' I hope I'm not like that! So, to make sure I'm keeping up on my gratitude quota, I want to list a few things I am grateful for.

First and most important, my husband. I am lucky enough to be married to my best friend. We rarely see eye to eye on things, it's kind of our joke that if he likes things one way, I like them the other, but I trust him more than anyone and I love him very much. Our differences really do make us better.
Second, and right up there with the first, my children. Each of my children are special to me in an entirely unique way. I love Logan's enthusiasm, Linc's perspective, Owen's sense of humor and Ellie's happiness. I am very blessed.
Third, I am thankful for my heritage. I have been raised in a very large family (9 kids!) and have been raised to love my Savior and pray to my Heavenly Father. My parents sacrificed everything for their children. I am very grateful to them!
Fourth, I am grateful for the gospel and all parts of my faith. I have faith in many things, but most importantly in my Heavenly Father and Savior, Jesus Christ. I am not worthy of all the blessing I have, but I am grateful!
Fifth, I am grateful for my senses. Life is so much happier with music, art, food, nature, and all the other things we use our senses to enjoy!
Lastly for today, I am thankful for my future. I don't know what it will be, but I am excited to find out, and I have such great company to enjoy it with!

If your still with me, here are a few pictures of my four little blessing playing outside. The leaves finally fell off our trees so they have been having a lot of fun! That reminds me, I'm thankful that in the south, autumn (my favorite season!) lasts a very long time!

Okay, here they are!
