Toward the end of the day we stopped in at the French Market and a little old grocery store called the Central Grocery and had their famous Muffuletta sandwich, which were fantastic despite the green olives. :) We hopped a trolley home and everyone fell asleep without any problems that night. :) I have a bundle of pictures here, I don't expect most of you to want to look at all of them, but I feel like they cover pretty much our entire day, including the beautiful buildings; hope you like them, it really was a fun day!
The Mississippi (I just like to spell it.)
Patient Daddy, happy baby girl!
Outside Cafe Du Monde
Ellie just liked the sugar!
St Louis Cathedral
Pirate Alley
St. Louis Cemetery Number One.
A random black cat, roaming the cemetary.
All the graves are above ground because of the high water table.
Sad.
Presents for this occupant. I think I'd rather just have flowers. :)
Another sad shot. I wish someone would come fix this, and yes, you could see bones inside, but I didn't want to take a picture of that, it seemed disrespectful.
Worn out Daddy, Ellie had just finished a tantrum. She was one tired baby.
A random crafty clown.
Street Band
The Muffuletta sandwich...yummy.
Looks like we're about done for the day!
A bunch of tired boys and Mommy.
Stroking Daddy's eyebrows.
A happy face tie from the French Market.
Figuring out the trolley schedule.
Loved this happy boy shot.
I had to take this shot. The kids wore their sandals all day and this was how their feet turned out in the end! It was straight into the shower for these three. :)
One last New Orleans post to go...look forward to the Plantation pictures, they are my favorite!!

I can't wait to hear about your trip (in person)! Some of your bayou shots and city alley shots are beautiful.
Gorgeous pictures. What a great trip (and mega exhausting, I'm sure!)
