Fiftieth Day and Pumpkins

Linc had his fiftieth-day-of-school party on Monday. I was so happy he was able to go because I thought with our New Orlean's trip that we had missed it. I don't think I've ever seen him so happy! I took O and Ellie with me and we met him in the gym. It was so cute. All the kids were dressed in their fifties clothes and the were dancing and doing the hula-hoops. Linc had some pretty smooth moves! He saw us ran right over with a hug. He wanted Owen to be with him for the rest of the party, even in line to go to the bathroom! Check this big boy out!

That same evening we had our annual, "Pumpkin Carving with the Marsaws!" It was a lot of fun. We hadn't seen them in a while and it's amazing how quickly kids grow! Alex took on his usual big pumpkin project, Logan chose to carve his with the Alabama "A", while the others all created their own masterpieces. After that, we all enjoyed hanging out and watching Charlie Brown. It was a lot of fun, thanks guys!

Yummy, yummy, pumpkin guts. The boys wouldn't even touch them hardly, and here is my daughter, chowing down like they were pizza!

Owens design. He really knew what he wanted! I drew, but he gave me the specific instructions.

This has got to be some kind of poison hazard.
