This post is going to be full of A LOT of pictures. Fall has been in full swing at our house. We've had fall break, that we spent partially in Atlanta at Dia and Matt's house. We got to go boating with them, and dropped by Burt's Pumpkin patch again for the third year in a row. It was a fun trip (even though my kids were a little crazy) and when we got back, Dan was happy to see us again. The rest of fall break was spent watching Star Wars or outside enjoying this beautiful weather! We even took time as a family to visit a cotton field.
We've had a few different church Halloween parties. The kids have had so many opportunities to wear their costumes this year! I don't have a picture of Owen in his yet, so maybe I'll get that tonight while we are trick-or-treating. I will let the pictures do the rest of my talking today. Hope everyone has a very happy Halloween...get lots of candy!
Ellie's pretty little witch costume.
Linc loves the movie 'Rio', so when he found this hat in the dress-up bin his mind was made up. We threw this costume together in about ten minutes, and he couldn't be happier!
Logan and his little friend both dressed as pirates even though we hadn't planned it. It was too cute to pass up a picture!
Fun stuff at our Ward's fall festival.
Dia's house-fall break. Ellie loves big girls. Diana's oldest daughter was her favorite thing to play with while we were there! She was very sweet to Ellie.
The Pumpkin Patch
Love this one...thanks Dia!
I liked Linc's determined face in this one.
Beignet's for Saturday morning breakfast. Dan's sweet co-worker brought this mix back for us from a New Orleans trip. When our family was there, we visited Cafe Du Monde and loved these!
They are messy though!
After our breakfast, we hit the cotton fields. I am from Utah and I grew up with snow...so seeing these white, covered fields is so beautiful to me. Below here is a field that has just been harvested.
Dan takes this road in to work every morning. I've always thought it was beautiful.
Cotton...up close.
Cotton Kisses.
The boys had fun playing hide-and-seek in this field!
The family picture I've been waiting for. I really like this one.
Another morning walk with ALL the kids!
Wild Child. I can't get her to keep her pony tails in for anything!
Logan's village.
My favorite thing about fall is the outside time, playing ball in the yard!
Like I said, my wild child! While the rest of us played football and soccer, she sat there in the dirt and dug around. Dan and I joked that she had an invisible force field protecting her, cause the balls would zoom past her to her left and right, but nothing ever hit her.
Sixth annual pumpkin carving with the Marsaws!
Owen and Ellie out on their wheels of choice.
My kids LOVE dress-up. I completely encourage it too because their imaginations are what I live for. We had a little pirate and a fairy on this outing.
My little pirate commandeered my little fairy's tricycle. I let it happen because I knew this would be such a funny shot! Nice Mom right?
I also didn't want to cross him...he was armed!
If you look closely, you can see the sword sticking out the bottom of his pants!
The persistent fairy got her vessel back!
And the both lived happily ever after!
Till next time!
