I've always loved Halloween. To me it is a holiday for kids. They get to use their imaginations and dress up in fun costumes, go to party's and door after door, people are happy to fill their containers with treats. Could really be any better? There is no stopping them...it's all about fun and think it is good for them to just be kids and enjoy it.
When we got home the kids dumped all their candy into one huge pile and we spent the rest of the evening eating way more sugar than we should have, sipping apple cider, and watching halloween shows. It was wonderful. I loved how the kids kept bringing me their chocolate without me even asking. I am blessed!
Moving right along...Ellie found her barbie make-up...all by herself!
Yesterday we were all playing outside in the yard. Ellie is usually found in some kind of frilly dress these days...never mind we were playing football, tag and rolling around in leaves. I had to run in for my camera because the colors were just so pretty! I posted some other autumn pictures on my photoblog too.
Love this one!!
Finally...I got a new backdrop and my little volunteers had a lot of fun while I tested it out.
Squeezey Hug.
Ellie with her hair in her face...I wonder sometimes how she manages to see anything when it's like this!
Oh, I just want to squeeze those sweet little cheeks!! I have to say, we are letting O's hair grow out again because I simply adore it long.
Ellie loves to say prayers...she gets mad when it's not her turn.
