Basketball and Potty Training

The title pretty much sums up what's been going on around our house. I have never been fully prepared for what lies ahead when I begin potty training. It is a full time job and if I lose focus for even five minutes, I am stuck cleaning up lovely little messes! I am happy to report that Ellie is catching on pretty fast. She will go all day without an accident now and will even tell me when she is ready to use the potty. She LOVES her new Dora underwear (the Hello-Kitty pack was not enough to keep up with her that first week!) and sings the Dora song every time she puts a new pair on. She's been traipsing around like a little "Mogli" for the past few weeks, mainly so I will remember to take her potty! I tend to forget when she's wearing pants.

Logan is loving basketball. It's fun watching him get progressively better throughout the season. It's been lousy weather outside to practice, but his Tuesday practices are really paying off. He still says he wants to play football as "his" sport, so maybe we'll give that a try this coming year. I personally think Soccer might be his thing, so I guess we'll have to try that too! We're going to have to narrow it down to one or two though cause his brothers are starting to ask to play sports too and I can see our lives becoming a little stressful. I'd love to have all of them play baseball, and then each pick their own favorite sport to go with it. Hmmm. I guess I'm just rambling now, so I think it's time to share this weeks pictures and run! I'll give a Lincoln/Owen update next time!

Please forgive me for this one, but it was a classic. Ellie loves her boots, and she loves popsicles!

Oh, and I finally got rid of the ugly blinds and put up curtains! I love how light they are!
