Half Way

I can't believe summer is over half way over! I haven't even gone on all of the adventures I'd originally planned, but the boys have had a lot of fun playing together, so I don't feel too bad about it.
Dan and I have been fighting off a yucky cold for the past few weeks. It's completely drained me of my energy. My house a wreck right now, but I think I'm finally getting better a little each day. It's really made me appreciate my health...I can't wait to have it fully back!

I'm sitting in Ellie's room right now, on the floor. Owen is instructing me on the best way to kill an electric monster. Apparently, if you ever have an infestation at your house, you take a large, plastic baseball bat, and bash him repeatedly over the head like, "this, and this, and this, and this!" I tried to convince him that you can also point your fingers at him and say, "zappity zap!" but apparently, that idea isn't as cool. :)

Life is good. Here are the pictures from this week. Sorry if some of them look like previous pictures. The boys spend a lot of time outside in the back yard these days. :)

It's amazing how much fun you can have with a water noodle and a hose. :)

The visual you created with Owen's electric monster bit actually made me laugh out loud. Totally impressed you got a picture of all four kids together on the slip and slide!
