One Month Down

A month of summer vacation is about down. I've never been much of a Sonny and Cher fan, but they were right on the money with that "Beat Goes On" ditty........uh-huh. Life just keeps on rolling. We haven't done a lot yet this summer, but we've relaxed a lot, played with good friends, hit a few story times, played a lot of Super Mario Brothers, experimented with the hose and sprinkler, and played on a playground or two. Okay, so maybe we've done more than I thought, it's just all been activities close to home.
I am very happy with how well the kids are getting along. We have had a few little fights, but considering how much time they have spent together, I think they have done great. I sat and listened to them play Super Mario Brothers today. They were playing the two player version, where the little Mario and Luigi work together to get to the end of the levels and I was really impressed at how they took care of each other and worked together. I think that is the biggest paycheck a Mom can have.

Logan lost another top tooth today. I'll have get pics before the adult teeth grow in. He was pretty excited. Linc and Owen cleaned the playroom all by themselves today which is another exciting accomplishment. Ellie has been flashing a really cheesy smile...oh and her language has really taken off lately. The boys love to hear her say the word, "Taco." They ask her over and over to say it, and then laugh their heads off.

Well, I guess that's about all for today. Here are some pictures I took of the kids this week while I was doing a photo shoot for a friend of mine. I posted the pictures of her on my photo blog if anyone is interested...I really liked how they turned out. Till later!

We had to get a picture of Ellie and her "big sister." This pretty girl tells everyone she has a little sister. Her Mom is always worried people will think she has a child locked in the basement! :)
