Happy Birthday Honey!

I'm a day late with this post, but don't worry, we tried to spoil him yesterday! Dan is only two and half years older than me, but he always teases me about it....so Happy birthday old man! We love you. I could write paragraphs about what a fantastic father and husband you are, but I think I'll spare everyone the mushy stuff, and tell you myself later. :) Love you! Here are the pics from your day.

I thought this picture was hilarious. The boys had picked out and wrapped their presents by themselves. (I did help O and Ellie with theirs) Logan picked out the Star Wars wrapping paper himself. Needless to say, they were very excited Monday morning for Daddy to wake up and unwrap them. I thought it was so good of Dan to get up early on HIS birthday to make his kids happy. Poor tired man.

I took the kids shopping for Dan's birthday on Saturday. Logan thought his present through and had a football picked out before we even got to the store. I'm sure they'll have fun using it!

Owen picked a hula-hoop for Dan's present, (he was determined!) and if you look closely on the ground in a couple of these pictures you can see the little valentine bear Ellie nabbed off the shelf herself while we were shopping. I figured that was her choice. :)

Check out the top right picture of "curly haired" Owen in this collage. Ellie is in the background, shoving her shoe hands in her mouth. Love it!

Linc's choice of gift for Daddy was these sand critters. The boys had fun making them for Daddy.

We spent a lot of the evening like this, just playing around.

Ellie got in the way of Logan and the hula-hoop. Poor thing. Logan took good care of her.

Hula hoop. Awesome. Tell Dan we expect an impressive performance from him and his hoop next time we see y'all.
