Busy, busy, busy.

Sometimes life seems to go slowly, and other times it moves so fast I can't keep up. I am sure you can guess from my blog title that lately it has been the latter. Our family is busy doing a lot of fun things, and even though I really don't think I'd have it any other way...sometimes I dream of a long beach in a far off tropical place with no technology and my sweet little kids competing with Dan and I to dig the deepest mote for our castle. Hmmm...maybe a trip to Destin this summer should be put on the calendar. It's not really far away, but it would still be wonderful.

So, what have we been so busy with? Well lets see, Dan's been traveling way more than I like for work, (which will slow down now that the Ares 1x rocket launched....yay!) I'm in school and trying to keep motivated. I'm studying to become a speech pathologist and I love it, but it's a lot of work. I've been taking clients for photography recently, which has been a frightening adventure. I still feel like I have so much to learn. I love it too though. (You can see my photoblog about that.) DAn and I are both involoved with our church. We had seperate callings, but just recently got put in charge of the cub scouts together. (Hee hee hee.)

Logan just started basketball. He gets to have one of his best friends from kindergarten on his team, so he's very happy. The rest of us are busy being little tornado's, crying, learning, climbing things and getting into all kinds of appropriate "kid trouble." I call it that to remind myself that when I was little jumped off the shed in my backyard trying to fly....being insane as a child is normal...well that is, if you call me normal anyway. Dan might have something to say about that.
I'll wrap this up I guess. I just wanted to write this all down so one day, when the kids are grown, and I am bored, and wishing I had fingerprints to clean up, and toilets to flush, I could read this and remember. Life is insane, but beautiful.

Here are a few more practice pictures I did of the kids in the yard this week. I am also posting a fun shoot I did this weekend on my photoblog if anyone is interested. It was my largest group yet!

I cannot believe how big your kids are getting. Logan's not a little boy anymore. Your pictures are beautiful. We are excited to see you guys.

Logan looks so BIG in those pictures. When did that happen?

I think it is this time of year. Busy just starts feeling normal, right? I don't know how you're doing school and photography and keeping up with your kiddos! I'm exhausted just thinking about it. May the next few weeks bring a breath of calm...or, at least, a little less crazy :)

I amazed at all you do. One kid is hard enough.
