Happy Birthday Owen!

Well, I am happy to report that Owen has survived to age three! :) Our crazy little child had a fun day, starting with a little party last night. He spent the entire day playing with all of his new toys, I didn't even take him anywhere special today because he wanted to be home.
I always joke about Owen being crazy because he is usually the one in our family destroying things and climbing everything, (most recently my cell phone in a cup of water!) but I honestly can't think what life would be like with out him exactly as he is. He is sweet, silly, shy, happy, grouchy, smart, hilarious and 'all boy' mixed together to make an adorable blue eyed, squishy kid. We love you Owen!

Owen's fun weekend started out with skating. His first time! (Lincs too, can you tell?)

I love Dan's face in this picture. The boys wore us out with in two minutes! I don't know why they are so much heavier with roller skates on!

The cake. I tried to make it look like a planet so General Grievous would be standing on it, but Dan just laughed at me. Go ahead, you can laugh too!

At least Owen loved it.

Dan let him pick out his own candles, and he picked trick candles. We didn't know it till he blew them out and they came back to life. Owen was pretty excited to blow out his candles again, and

again and again.......

.....which brings me to the next picture. Our good friends were kind enough to bring Owen the best gift he could ever recieve. A fire extinguisher. (Empty of course!) I have never seen Owen this excited about anything! He's had a thing for fire extinguishers for a while now. Funny!

Loving it.

Owen's other favorite. This knight costume has been on his body for hours today! He loves it. Our friends picked it out to be TV safe too. (foamy sword) Thanks guys! I wish I could claim this picture, but our friend Skyler actually took it. Pretty cool huh? Here are a ton more of O in his suit. It was too much of a photo opp to pass up today.
