Catch Up Photos

I'm in Boston right now visiting my sister Liz with my older two sisters. Liz just had a baby and we were able to come and spend a lot of time with their new little family. I'll be posting plenty of pictures of the trip later, but today I'm using my beloved free time to catch up on this blog. I feel like my photography has been keeping me busy and I haven't given as much time to this blog as I should.

The kids are all doing really well. New accomplishments every day... I feel like the best accomplishments they make are in how well they work and do things together. I hope Dan and I are teaching them everything they need to know to be successful, happy, and caring adults. It's a lot of pressure and hard to cover all the many bases that need to be covered.

We want them to be kind, but we want them to stand up for themselves and what they know is right. We want them to work hard, but we want them to learn to enjoy the simple things and have fun. We want them to be smart and educated, but to be humble and kind. I guess the main thing we really want when it all comes down to it, is for our children to be happy.  I hope they are and will continue to be!

That being said, I am going to go play some board games with my sisters now. I plan on schooling them all...I'll let you know how it goes. :)

Ellie's worn out and comfy with her big brother.

Logan received his wolf badge last month!

Cute Linc playing a game at pack meeting.

Silly O.

Logan's literature of choice...Star Wars.

Logan's torture of choice...spelling tests.

Some spring pics of Ellie.

Her and her best friend Maclane.

Her pretty Easter dress. Ellie chose this spot herself!

Owen humoring my picture idea...

...and then doing things his way!

His reward for being so good...thanks Ashley!

Some pretty shots from a recent walk...

Love this one.

And finally, a few more little shots of my baby.

My fave.
