While we were at my parents, we also got to take a ride in the back of Grandpa's truck. The directions to my parents house include a turn onto a dirt road, and dirt roads are just right for truck rides. I especially loved it because we rode all over the roads I used to run along when I was a teenager. I have so many memories back there, and it was fun to "take a trip down memory lane". We got to visit Grandma and Grandpa Great (my grandparents), visit my mom at her work (she's an elementary school librarian), the boys took a hike up Perry canyon, visit an old friend for just a sec, play of Grandma and Grandpa's new swing-set, do a few family photo-shoots, and go to church with my parents. Now that I list it, it sounds like a lot to cram into a few days!
After the visit to Perry, we spent a quick weekend with our great friends, the Ratchfords. We had a campfire the first night in Bountiful, and visited "This is the Place National Park" the next day. The kids loved it and have been begging to go back ever since! It was really kid friendly there with lots to do and learn about pioneers and how people used to live. I highly recommend it to anyone in the Salt Lake area!
I won't label all these pictures, because it would take me forever, but here are all the collages from the days I just talked about!
My sweet Grandmother.
The view from my parents backyard. I used to hike up to that big white rock...it's named...wait for it...wait for it....White Rock! Fitting huh?
I've always loved barbed wire.
My Dad's Ham towers...they remind me of him...I had to post to remember. :)
My boys with Grandpa Great.
Owen was interested in my grandpa (and my Dad's) bald heads.
Time for the truck ride! Brooks kids joined us.
My brother and his little family. I posted more of them on my photoblog.

I love your pictures! The one of Ellie and Grandma made me tear up a little. Also the bountiful temple and the American flag, and so many others. I wish I could capture things like you do! Thanks again for the family picture/Calvin shoot. It was great to see you guys!
