Owen's First Day!

I was awoken this morning by a very excited little boy who was ready for his first day of preschool. He was suppose to start a few weeks ago, but there were some complications at the school and it had to be put off a little bit, so today he kept asking, "Mom, am I really starting today? Is someone really going to be there?" I kept reassuring him all the way to the school and he was happy to find that I was right. When he got into the classroom (that is more like a child's wonderland if you ask me!) he went right for the instruments. Ellie was having fun too, until I told her it was time to go and she started crying because we had to leave, while Owen started crying because he didn't want us to! Sometimes tough love is hard. I stayed a little longer, but really felt like he needed to try it without me, so I left while his sad little blue eyes watched me drive away through the glass door. Boo. This story does have a happy ending though. When I went to pick him up again, he was outside on the playground, as happy as could be. He had a wonderful time!
We decided to eat lunch at Sonic to celebrate.

Oh, and if you or anyone you know is looking for an affordable fun little preschool, they still need a few more students! The MCCTC is twice a week (Tue. and Thur. mornings) from 8 to 10:50. It is a great program with a lot of one on one attention, and it is only $50.00 a month. The rest of Sept. is free for anyone who enrolls now.

Okay, my plug is done. Here is very handsome little pre-schooler!

I had to add this picture really quick. This was how Owen looked when I picked him up from his class after church. He had a cute drawl when he told me it was his "Craywn."

I snuck this shot from my waste level on my way out. It's fuzzy, but so sweet. Owen really loves his Mommy. It makes want to kiss him!

These shots were taken after I picked him up. I've been passing this pile of old iron materials for three years and I've always wanted to stop for some pictures! Owen was so happy to see me, I figured, today was the day!

Oaky, that's all for today. I am so behind on my editing. I really have a lot from last week that are coming! Back to the homework!
