I wanted to update a little on the youngest two. Owen is really getting big both physically and personality-wise. His most common phrases these days are:
"Oh Dern-it!" (He uses this whenever he's disappointed.)
"You know what they say Mom..." (Fill in the blank with anything he's thinking at the time.)
"Well that was awkward!" He times this one to perfection. Last week someone spilled an entire cup of juice at the table, all over Dan's pants might I add. (It was especially frustrating because spills happen all the time at our table!) Anyway, Dan had his head lowered and I could tell he was counting to ten when Owen's little voice, as serious as could be, chimed in with, "Well that was awkward!" It completely dissolved all tension and I can honestly say I have never seen Dan laugh so hard in my life! Owen was very proud of himself. Of course, now he says it all time!
"Mom, I kinda like ya, you know."
Oh, and he refers to me as princess all the time. (Super Mario Bro's) I absolutely love it!
Owen is the epitome of a "bouncing baby boy." he is always bouncing all over the place, excited to show me all his new tricks. Owen plays really well with Logan and Lincoln. He is a little ray of sunshine. The only time he is really upset, is when he gets an "Owie." He does not like to see cuts and scrapes! It completely freaks him out. He is starting to learn that injury's get better now and occasionally I'll hear him say, "You know what they say Mom, Owie's get better!" Sweetie.
Ellie Belly is learning more and more words everyday, which means she is screaming less and less. (Hooray!) She is starting to follow some rules, but we still have a ways to go. Her favorite words are: cracker, thank you, Daddy, Mama, ball, wah-wah (water), more, crakah, (this one means 'please'...I'm not sure why, but she's consistent) bebeh (baby), and hi (she uses this one in the grocery store a lot to everyone she meets.) I'm beginning to understand her more and more. She has a sweet little voice and big eyes. She loves to use her "beaky lips", and she also loves throwing things in the garbage. Ellie walks around looking for things to get into, and she adores getting piggy-back rides from Logan. She loves snuggly things, and is always happy to be wrapped up in a big soft blanket to cuddle. (I take advantage of this one as often as possible!)
I posted more of these pictures on my photo blog cause I really liked them, but I wanted to add a few here as well. I love these two!

Happy 30th Birthday! How exciting - I turn 29 in a few months and am really starting to feel old when all the new couples moving into the ward for Optometry school are 21. I love all your pictures of your kids - you are so great at capturing every moment. I need to do better.
I bet it is so weird without them home! I put off preschool this year for Addie because I wanted to keep her close another year. haha!
Those phrases are priceless.
I can't believe Owen says "Well that was awkward". He is hilarious!!! Also, love the pics of Ellie...what a cute smile.
