More Snow and the Museum of Natural History

Last weekend we got out of the apartment again, this time toward DC to the Natural History museum. It was our kids first shuttle and Metro ride and I think they had a lot of fun! We got to go with some sweet new friends and their two little guys and that made it even better! All I can really say about the Natural History museum is that it is absolutely spectacular. I don't think my pictures do it justice this time. I will be back though, so I will get another try! It is full of stuffed animals, plants, rocks and dinosaur bones. It has an entire section on ocean animals and plants and an enormous room with a majestic elephant displayed. The kids were excited the entire time...well, everyone but Ellie. She got tired out pretty fast!

We are still adjusting to life here, but we are very happy and having a lot of fun. I'll post more about the day to day life soon! here's the pictures!

 Ellie, loving the snow!

Getting off the bus...

Don't forget to look up!

My first live spotting of the Washington monument!

A tired bud ride home.

My favorite picture of the day. Logan LOVED the museum and it wore him out. I caught this one on our ride home.
