The Boys Are Back...

...at school! Oh what a happy day for everyone! I love the excitement and anticipation for the first day of school. The new clothes, supplies, teachers...it's all just so fun. Linc and Logan started their first day yesterday, and because the school phases in the kindergarten classes and lets them start their first day with a very small group, Owen didn't start until today. He woke up first, got dressed and came in and out of my bedroom with Lincoln all morning until I finally drug myself into the "up and at 'em" position. We threw together some lunches, ate a healthy breakfast of toast and milk, (kids choice) and headed out back for our annual "first day" pictures. I waited to take everyone's nice shots today so they could be together and just grabbed a few snap shots yesterday of Linc and Logan. I know I'm a little obsessive when it come to pictures, but I just love the first day. It's my favorite shoot of the year!

Yesterday while the older two were in school, I took O and Ellie to the library to meet their buddy Maclane one more time before she and O started. They got to play outside for a minute too and while we were waiting for M to show up, I bribed O and E with bubblegum to let me take a few last shots of them together before O is gone everyday. They really do love eachother. It will be so weird not having O here! Ellie and I got home this morning and kind of stared at each other for a second before she asked for Super Why.  Ah well, I guess it will take some getting used to. Ellie starts pre-school in a month, so we'll have some time together for now!  Okay, I'm done. Bring on the pictures!!
