We had a fun week/weekend last week. Dan had a trip to New York (his first time there) for a PR conference and I decided to drive to Atlanta to visit Brooklyn and Diana. Brooklyn has started selling Scentsy candles and had a candle party Wed. Then on Thursday, the three of us girls took all of our kids to a place called Monkey Joe's in Atlanta. It was one of those big bounce around places. The kids loved it! On Friday Dia and I watched Brooklyn's kids so she could sleep in and hang out with Brian for her birthday. We were brave/stupid enough to take all the kids to Kiddie Kandids and get their picture made. (That's how they say it down here.):) It was insane, but very worth it! That night Dan's flight home had a lay over in Atlanta, so he skipped the second half of his flight and we all got to hang out with our husbands and had a very yummy barbeque at Dia's. It will probably be the last time we get to see Brook and Brian before they move, so I'm glad Dan could be there too. We had a crazy/late drive home, and a fun Chuckecheese party for Logan's t-ball team Saturday. Dan loved New York. He got to hang out with my little sister for a while there, because she happened to be visiting at the same time as his trip. Well, this is pretty long now, so I'll just post a few pictures and let anyone reading this get back to their life! :)

Here's my boys. We had it taken while we were there.

All of our kids. I think they are pretty dang cute.

This was my idea.

I loved this one, only Linc was with Dan playing the hunting game. I'm sad he's not in it too.

Hinc and Gogi

Logan wanted a picture of himself. How 'bout that smile?

A lazy summer week

It's been a pretty uneventful week so far. I've been feeling pretty tired lately, so I'm trying not overload myself. My kids however, aren't in the least bit tired. It's been a little frustrating for them staying home so much. That will change tomorrow though, because we'll be gone visiting Aunt Brooklyn and their cousins. They are happy. Diana and her kids will be there too, so that will be good. I tried taking the boys to a mothers and kids free movie day at a local theater here. It was fun, but a lot of stress keeping Owen quiet. Logan loved it though, and once Lincoln got over how loud it was, he liked it too. The second we walked into the theatre he screamed from the noise and threw his hands to his ears, dropping our popcorn all over the front row. Oh, boy. Well, I guess I'll have to get used to stress because it's about to get even more so in a few months! :) I love my little guys. They wear me out, but they are so worth it! Here's some ranom pictures from the week.

'Role Play Lincoln.'
I'd say about seventy-five percent of the day Lincoln is pretending to be something new. Lately he's been a puppy or a cat, or even a monkey. This is picture of him being a baby. He figured out that pillow cases are just right for assuming "baby position." I think it is really comfortable for him, because he'll stay in that thing forever.

Owen prefers not to go down the stairs by himself. He likes to be carried, so we've been working hard at getting him to come down on his own. I love how he is lead by his little bum.

A cowboy hat and camo pants. That's my boy!

Curious Lincoln. My boys love being outside.

As Lincoln used to say, "Not forget about baby!" Here's how baby girl is coming along. We're not set on any names yet, though Logan really wants to name her Ellie.

Ten years later

This weekend was soooo nice! A few of my friends from high school met together in Florida for a weekend of shopping and lying on the beach without children. (Thank you daddy's!) We had a lot of fun catching up on our lives and catching dead jellyfish, although we didn't know they were dead at the time! Here's a few of my favorite pics, oh and I would be very ungrateful if I didn't mention how much I love my husband. I'm not trying to embarrass him or anything, but he really is my perfect match. Thanks for all your help this month sweety! I'm home for good now.
Dinner at the Olive Garden

I love this because of my friends pretty smile, and how in one lens you can see me taking the picture, and in the other lens you can see the rest of the girls sitting on their towels.

Most of us took a picture with this shark. This one makes me laugh soo hard! Logan loves it, Lincoln hates it, and Owen has no opinion what so ever. I thought my mother in law might like this one. :)

Four of us at the beach.

And there's the fifth! Isn't she cute?
