One more muddy post for today

I couldn't feel caught up with my blogging, until I had added these pictures from yesterday. We have a tree in the back that is having trouble growing grass beneath it. I think these pictures will help you understand why. Logan and Lincoln like to turn the hose on and let the water flow down the slope to the tree like a river. Usually I don't let them play in the "river," but for some reason yesterday I was in a more adventurous mood. The results are posted below.

Will and Ann

Last week my brother Will and his wife Ann came to visit for a few days. They were staying in Atlanta with my other brother Brian, and despite the fact that they were in a huge car accident the day they got to Georgia, they still came out to see us. We loved having them here, and the boys played non-stop with their cousins. They couldn't have been happier. I didn't take many pictures, but here are a few from the Space and Rocket Center.
T Poor little Tyson got a double ear infection on the trip so he wasn't very happy to be alive at this point, but Owen liked playing with him!

Here's Dan with Brooklyn's little guy, Adam. He came along to play with his cousins. Karah is in pink. She's Will's oldest and she wanted to be in the picture, as long as she wasn't too close to Dan. :)

The three oldest in a cockpit. It was set up the way it would be in a shuttle, so the kids had to be sideways to be in their seats. They were a little nervous about it.

Utah trip

I'm finally posting pictures from my Utah trip. I'm adding three posts today in an attempt to catch up on all of this months trips before I head off to Florida this weekend for my fourth and final trip of the month. (Dan will have had the kids by himself for twice this month. "Super dad!") It's been so fun seeing everyone, but a part of me will be grateful to be able to relax and enjoy a tripless summer with my family. We'll do small trips, but nothing major this year. Anyway, below are some shots off my dad's camera from Utah. I had a lot fun, thanks to my wonderful family!
Liz and I at Joe's reception. It got a little chilly toward the end!

My siblings, all nine of us.

My parents, Grandparents, and Joe and Liz!

Liz, Mom and Me. I'm really getting a belly now.

Liz and Joe after their sealing, with my grandparents. I'm so glad I could be there. It was beautiful, and they are both so happy!

Lots of Trips

It has been a long time.

I feel like I haven't talked with anyone in a while because this month has been packed full of trips and visits. I guess that means I have talked with everyone on the trips but not as much with the rest of you all.

I got back from a five day/four night trip (without children) to Utah to visit for my brother, Joe's wedding. It was fun being with family. I got to see my sisters and parents and spend a lot of time with them. I didn't get to visit any friends this time and I was sad about that. Dan held down the fort here and did an amazing job. He didn't even complain once, at least not to me, so I felt very grateful.

In Utah I went with my sister Kirstin to Fetal Photos and got a second opinion that our baby is a girl. We are really excited about that! My mom had a pink blanket ready for me and I've already recieved a few other pink items from different people and the thought of having a daughter is starting to sink in. I have to be honest, I'm a little scared to have a girl. I don't know girls. Funny, huh? I am one, but I have no clue how to raise one. I was surrounded by five brothers, and Dan had all brothers and I'm very comfortable with my three little guys. I guess I'll just do my best, and if she turns out a bit "tomboyish" she'll be ok. :)

No pictures today. I asked my dad to send some from the trip, so hopefully I'll post some tomorrow. Bye!

A Visit from Abuelo y Abuela

Yesterday Abuela and Abuelo left after their five day visit. It was fun having them here, but time went too quickly! Abuelo helped us a lot with fixing some shady plumbing work in our bathroom upstairs. We are always very grateful for everything he does to help us. Abuela loved watching her grandkids play, and they were as active as ever for her. The boys always get very excited when they come. They watched the boys for us while Dan and I went in for our ultrasound (pics of that in the previous post) and we got to go see the Space and Rocket Center for a little while. I didn't get as many good pictures as I would have liked, but we got a few.

Abuelo and Owen. Owen went right up to Abuelo and hugged him from the start. He doesn't usually act that way. It was very sweet.

Lincoln and Logan were begging Abuela to take pictures of them. Linc especially liked it.

The Results Are Indefinitely In

So I decided to let everyone play a little game of "I Spy" with our ultra sound pictures and see if you can tell what anything is. We had the ultra sound yesterday and the baby wasn't exactly cooperating, so the results came down to "most likely" a girl. The baby's legs were tight together but the lady couldn't find any "boy parts" and got one shot of the baby with three little white dots, which usually means girl parts. Dan and I are very excited, but still not positive about having our little girl. The last picture posted here is the girl picture. I'd love anyone's opinions on what they think it looks like. (including those who have no idea what they're looking at!) I'm already scheduling a trip to Fetal Photos when I travel back to Utah. I want to be as sure as I can be!

These are small, but the first is a picture of the little one's hand, the second of the little face, and the third is a foot. So cute!

This is the "Girl shot." Any opinions?
