Happy Thanksgiving!

So I'm a little slow at adding pictures to the blog lately! It must be the holidays because I feel like I have a million things to do and no time to finish them all. We had a WONDERFUL thanksgiving in Atlanta. We stayed at my brother and sisters house one night and at my friend Diana's house the second night. I loved spending time with everyone! The food was great, the company was great and thanks to Brooklyn and Dia we made some awesome ginger bread houses. The unfortunate thing about the houses is that I live with three little boys and a husband who apparently loves ginger bread and my house now has a gigantic bite mark in the roof. Dan claims it was Logan, but I'm not convinced. Well, here are some pics from the weekend.

Watch out......Owen just turned one and he's on the loose!!!

This is Owen's favorite thing to do these days. We have a white fence attached to the railing at the top of our stair case so no little ones will slip through the poles and die. Owen loves to sit at the top and wait for me or Dan to come up the stairs. When we're within reach he reaches through and grabs us. It's very funny!

Owen's birthday was November ninth. We had a little family party that night and had some friends over the next night for pancakes. (Owen's favorite food) Logan and Lincoln were insane about helping him open his presents! They were so excited, you would have thought it was their birthday! We eventually had to make them sit on the couch so Owen could have a chance to play with his new toys!

OK, so this gift was my favorite because Logan picked it out and paid for it with his own money! We were at the store shopping and Logan found this baby dressed in a cow suit. He told me he thought Owen would like it for his birthday. I told him I had already bought Owen enough presents, and asked him to put it back. He kind of lost it and was adimant that Owen have this baby. Finally I agreed to buy it, if Logan would pay for it himself when we got home, and he agreed. He even asked if he could buy Lincoln a gift too. The doll was on clearance, so Logan was able to afford a toy for Lincoln and himself too. He wrapped the gift himself, and made sure Owen knew how to play with it!

This picture was from Owen's party. We made the cake look like a pile of pancakes. It was made out of cake batter, and I'm telling you, cake batter is really hard to flip over in a frying pan! Once again, Logan and Lincoln were more excited than Owen and they blew out his candles for him.

Halloween Costumes!

I'm a little slow at getting our Halloween pictures posted, and to be honest, not many of them turned out very well. We all went to our ward Trunk-or-Treat party. It was a lot of fun for the boys. They had a carnival inside the gym and Dan was in charge of a penny toss game, so I was left chasing the wee ones around all night! :) The boys had a great time. Logan did the cake walk at least fifteen times and never won a cupcake. Luckily, Lincoln did it once and won an entire cake, so we all shared. Lincoln was obsessed with all the candy and Logan had fun playing the golf game and handing candy out from our trunk. (after he had made the rounds himself, of course!) Owen was an adorable little froggy, but he was a little sick and not his usual happy self. Here's the pictures!

The day before Halloween, Lincoln finally agreed to wear his Bob the Builder costume! He had been dead set against trying it on all month, so I was relieved that he changed his mind.

Here they are! This is the best picture I could get of them all together, and I'm telling you all, I worked hard for it!

Logan almost chose to be a pirate, but decided the day of Halloween to be Buzz one more time.

Logan's Thirteenth Article of Faith

Logan's Primary group at church has asked each of the kids to memorize the Articles of Faith. The Primary leaders told the children that each child gets one scoop of ice cream at a party later this year for each Article of Faith they memorize. As you might have guessed, ice cream was all the incentive Logan needed and he has now memorized all thirteen of them.
