An Attempt at Taking a Picture

I think this is pretty funny. You can see the sequence of events in my failed picture attempt. Start at the bottom of this sequence, and work your way to the top. Ah well, we tried!

Oh, there he is, No marshmellows for you!
I think we'll call it quits for now.

Wasn't there a third boy in this picture at one point?

Logan's hanging in there, Owen's about had it, and Lincoln's being bribed shamelessly, and unsuccessfully.

Well now, Logan's a little less excited, but at least Lincoln's intertaining someone!
Oh, and just so you know, glass fireplaces put off quite a glare.
Notice Logan and notice Lincoln. Owen's ok too at this point.

Utah and the Boys

Well, it was just one quick trip home for my brother's wedding and it was enough to make me pretty homesick for Utah. I love it here in Alabama, but I think Dan and I will have to be taking another trip back soon together with more than just a weekend's amount of time to visit everyone! I'm so glad I got to see my brother Dan marry Alesha though! The wedding was very pink and very cute! Dan looked as happy as could be and Alesha was beautiful! Thanks to everyone who drove me around everwhere! I miss y'all all ready! Here are some pictures from Utah and a few more from back home in Alabama.
Here's Owen's new favorite toy, a drum set..rock on!

Mr.Mom

Becki is out in Utah with her family because her brother Dan is getting married. She left Thursday morning REALLY early from Nashville and will get home on Monday. She took Owen with her and that means that for a few days I have/get to look after Logan and Lincoln. It's actually not as trying as I was expecting. I think that has something to do with the amount of popsicles and cookies we've eaten compounded with how late we stay up each night watching movies.

All the boys miss Mommy and Owen, but we've had our fun too. Logan's first soccer practice was scheduled for yesterday, but with 105 degree temperatures, it was wisely cancelled. Of course it would have been a little more wise to cancel it and tell the parents so they don't spend and hour and 25 minutes driving around cotton fields looking for the park, but I suppose that's neither here nor anywhere.

P.S. if anyone ever finds themselves in the position of needing to find something somewhere in the Alabama countryside, here are two tips: #1 Google maps doesn't work here. #2. Bring a GPS unit and a tent.

We're now about half way through our bachelor's weekend and we're still alive. That must count for something. We have chicken nuggets and popsicles on the menu again today so if we end up contracting scurvy, please someone send oranges.

Becki just sent some pictures from Utah of Owen with his Grandma and Grandpa Great.

Summer Days

Becki didn"t want me to post these pictures, so I'll probably get in trouble for this. I couldn't help it though. These pictures are just that good. We have a good friend named Kim who is unusually talented with photography and luckily for us, she loves talking pictures of our boys. I think Becki feels guilty for using Kim's pictures so often, but really hers are so much better than ours that I don't know why we wouldn't.

So, before Becki gets back from Utah and makes me apologize to Kim for copyright infringement....

Here's a day at the pool with G-rant and Kim.

By the way, if anyone is interested in getting tips on photography or just wants to see some phenomenal pictures, check out Kim's blog.
