Getting Ready for Church

With the boys getting so big it takes longer and longer to get them dressed, shoed and combed for church. A few weeks ago we finally got them ready for church (ahead of schedule, for once) and they looked so good that I had to take a couple of pictures. Little did I know that it would be even harder to get themto stand still for a decent picture. I especially like the little, bitty suspenders I found in a box for Lincoln. He reminds me of a little Joseph Smith look-a-like heading out to hitch up the team to pull out a stump.

To infinity.....and beyond!

Logan is a very decided little boy. He knew he wanted to be Buzz lightyear for halloween this year; and even though I tried to talk him into the more economical choice of being Bob the Builder yet again, he had his heart set on Buzz. We add to this senario a proud and excited father who found an amazingly cute costume online, and had it sent in his sons name to our apartment. The ending result being, one excited little boy running around our apartment, jumping off couches, and a very big grin on daddy's face! I have to admit, he makes a great Buzz.

Frog in a basket

Lincoln is now at the "plop your little bum down wherever it will fit" stage. I was trying on his froggy costume for Halloween and taught him how to jump like a froggy. He jumped himself all over the house!

Logan's Pumpkin Patch

It was rainy today so we had to stay inside most of the time. Logan, of course, was full of energy so I had to find something for him to do before he pulled the paint off the walls. Since it's getting close to Halloween, and since there appears to be a shortage here in Alabama, I figured we might as well build ourselves a pumpkin patch. Logan started by putting a paper pumpkin he got in the mail from his cousin Jacob next to the carving pumpkin we bought Saturday at Sam's Club and it kind of grew from there. Here's what it ended up looking like. *Notice Logan's pumpkin-eyes.
