I'm getting all caught up on posts today. Logan's birthday is next on the list. Logan turned eight this year. I am amazed at how fast the time as flown by. Logan loves his Star Wars stuff, and I was lucky enough this year to hit Walmart after Christmas and get some fantastic deals, so he got to open a remote controlled "Hale Droid Fighter" (whatever that is...Logan could tell you, I could not) and absolutely loved it! It was pretty cool, I have to admit.
Logan is our idea man. I think I've written that before. He's like the energizer bunny...unless he's sick, he's on the move. (and even then, you never know!)
Logan is a great big brother. I think that he was meant to be first. I laugh because he was born five weeks early, completely tiny, but so strong and ready to take on the world. He hasn't stopped since. He's in the math club at his school, just finished basketball, and is about to start soccer. I feel like we need to keep him moving to keep him happy. I can't wait to see what he grows up to be...he'll go at it with everything, what ever it is.
Logan is great at loving people. He adores Ellie especially and takes care of her like he's her parent or something (a little something I have to put him in his place on every now and then).
Last of all, Logan is my friend. I think it can be hard to be friends and be the parent, because you want to let them do what ever they want, and you hate having to correct them when they're wrong, but even though I'm a parent first, Logan makes it easy to also be his friend and I love him for that...so, I know this post is a little late, but Happy Birthday Logan!
Logan's patented "Star Wars watching machine".
Logan's patented "most annoying noise maker ever" machine.
Daddy's lovely little present.
The cake...not as cool as Daddy's, but it's chocolate!
Logan wanted to serve it himself. We all had very generous portions. :)
Love you Logan!
