Busy, busy.

You know, at the beginning of summer, I pictured this vacation and the "lazy, lie around the house and play all day with my kids" days I would have without having any classes to worry about. The no classes has been fantastic, however, where did all that free time go?! A good portion of summer is already over and I don't feel like I've had that lazy week yet. It's been a lot of fun though, and being busy with only "Mom" stuff has been nice.
The kids are all getting along pretty well. They love to play outside in the water. I wish we could get a pool or something, but we don't have a fenced yard, so that isn't really an option right now.
Our house keeps having problems, which is frustrating, but I suppose it could be worse! Dan got to tear open a wall last week to find a leak and fix it. (Good job baby!) The kids thought it was the coolest thing ever and since the hole is in their room, they are sleeping like sardines in the office until Dan can patch it up this weekend.
Ellie belly is the messiest creature this side of Texas. I am convinced she has Logan beat at this age, which is saying something!
Owen is really growing up. He is constantly saying things that are a little beyond his years, AND funny! He cracks me up. He is a king at using words or phrases I say, timed to perfection, to throw back in my face, but he always does it with a smile...he's smart.
Lincoln loves drawing. He will sit at the table and draw for hours! He also loves to pretend to be something he's not. Usually it's a puppy, or a funny character from his latest favorite movie. He loves being Mario too, while O is Luigi.
Logan is not a little boy any more. I am amazed at how big he is. If it were legal, I could leave him here for an hour to watch everyone, and I am sure he'd handle it all. He's still my idea man, and an energizer bunny, and he adores his little sister! Whenever she's mad at me for something, she runs to him (when Daddy's not home of course!)
Well, I guess that about sums us up for now. Here are some random shots from the week. I went a little camera crazy yesterday and haven't had time to edit them yet, so I'm sure I'll be back with more!

The other day after church, Ellie and I were wearing the same colors and since we really don't have many pictures of us together, I asked Dan to take a few. I guess we do kind of look alike!

Poor tired Ellie at day camp. We were there all week last week with the cub scouts...the kids were worn out!

Cute boys.

Every day when we'd get home, I'd hike everyone straight up to the tub and we'd have a "stinkiest feet contest." Since I'm kind, I'm sharing the "clean feet" version of this contest to you!

Ellie and her chairs. She drags these things everywhere. One is pink, the others are all green. Can you guess her favorite?

Climber monkey.

Ellie loved showing her belly button to innocent bystanders. Especially at church, when she has to lift her entire dress to do it. :) She'll try to find yours too if you're not careful!

Sneaky boy.

This toy is as old as my oldest, and it looks it....but it is Ellies favorite. She'll stack these circles for a good fifteen minutes!

I guess that's it for today...don't worry, I'll be back soon!

I love all of the pictures with you and Ellie and the boys with their feet out of the tub. Well, really, I like them all! You are beautiful as ever! Where did you get the cute little chairs? Hudson would love something like that.

Miss you so much. It makes me a little homesick looking at pictures. :( Maybe I need to get my computer working so I can actually post some pictures. Wow. That would be a change wouldn't it. :)

You do look alike! I haven't really noticed it before but when you have that sweet girl in front of you she is definitely a mama's girl. Love the smiling picture!

My gosh, you look amazing. Does Dan know how totally lucky he was to snatch you up?

The kids are looking so cute! Summer and I aren't getting along, so my kids are bathed for church...and the rest of the time they look like street urchins ;)
