My, Oh My, Look How the Time Flies.

Okay, so when did my son grow up? Can I go back and pin point the exact date where he turned from little boy to big? Logan is changing so much and I am loving getting to know him more and more as the days go by. All of my kids are. It's kind of amazing me actually.

I'm in the thick of "busy-ness" now, like most of us out there. Life slowed down around Christmas long enough for me to take a deep breath and I'm holding it now, waiting for my next chance to breathe. I have four classes this semester. Two have nothing to do with my major (Biology and Literature), and two have everything to do with it (Speech Science and Intervention and Remediation). It's a nice mix. I'm beginning to get excited about what I am studying. Who knew so much was involved with the simple, natural process of speech?! Ask my friend Diana, I am officially a Speech Pathology nerd, and that is okay with me.

Dan and I took the time on Monday to paint our living room. I chose red for one wall and an almond color for the rest. I really like it. I'll have to post some pics of that tomorrow. Painting with him was a lot of fun. My favorite part was that the boys had to stay upstairs and entertain themselves with out television. I didn't think it would be possible for an entire day, but they managed alright!

Ellie is also changing. You can see her soaking in all the information around her. She has a thinking face that is so funny. She stretches her chin, purses her lips, and widens her eyes. She does it all the time, it's so funny. The boys have been playing hard with their new Wii. I should film Owen playing the sword fighting game we have. It's pretty funny, her really gets into it!

Well, that's the update for now. Here are a few pics from this past week. The first few are of Owen's little prune toes, after an hour long bath he took last week. I have been practicing with a new flash I got for Christmas. I think I used it for most of these. I still have a lot to learn though.

Oh, and speaking of bathtubs. I know Logan is getting a little too big for bathtub shots, but with the bubbles, I figured it was ok. I went to check on him the other day, and he had this telescope toy pulled in half on both of his arms. He told me they were his muscles. It reminded me of Popeye or something, so I had to take a picture!

Silly, messy, beat up Owen. Linc got his face while they were pretend boxing the other day. Oh boy.

Yum.

I love that my kids are so good at humoring me. They love taking pictures like this.

Over and over and over......

I am proud of this boy for a few reasons. First, he's loving basketball and tries really hard with it, and second, because when I asked if he liked this picture, he said, "Yeah mom, but look, do you think you could get rid of that shadow by my head?" I was so proud of him for even noticing that! He loves taking pictures as much as I do. :)

The Popeye shot is hysterical! :P

I love Owen's blue eyes and how his hair is getting so long. Cute combo.

Miss Ellie is such a doll. Sweet face.

Cute bathtub pictures, especially the muscle man. Oooo, post pictures of your newly painted living room! I want to see it! Maybe I'll just drop by some time... We do need to get together soon!

I am in true love with wrinkly toes straight from a bath. I can't help but take a nibble or two.
