A Snowy Morning

Okay, so I'm a little late....but still, better late than never right? Here are the pictures of our snowy day! A ground covered in white (Other than cotton of course) is a rarity here in Alabama, and so when it happens, most everyone is outside enjoying the snow. This day was no exception.
Dan and I have lived here now for over three years. We came from Utah where I personally was born and raised, so I am very familiar with snow. However, it is amazing what that three year absence will do to your snow toleration! First, we have no gloves, so the kids were left bare handed, or with floppy socks for protection. Secondly, they had no idea how cold the snow would be! With in a few minutes O was begging to go back inside. Since we are planning a trip home this holiday, I am glad we had this little reminder that we need to stock up on warm clothes!

After the youngest had had enough, Logan and I got to have a good ole snowball fight...one that produced the funniest picture known to mankind. Unfortunately for you all, it was of Logan pegging me square in the face; so my reaction, though hilarious, is way to embarrassing to post. Dan had a good laugh though and I will be posting the less embarrassing pictures. We'll save that one for posterity only. :)

Here they come!

Look......you can see it in his eyes.

I know these last two don't have anything to do with snow, but I couldn't resist. I found this little monkey perched like this the other day when he was supposed to be cleaning his room! I didn't even know we owned a pair of Dracula teeth. He is so funny!

No explanation needed for this one, other than to say that Ellie is learning the fine art of putting things on her head! Her baths have increased dramatically as of late. :)

I like the picture of the three boys hanging off the back of the truck. I'm afraid I was too cold to go brave the white morning. Southern snow is just plain mean in it's coldness. Looks like y'all had fun though!
