I know I'm adding two posts in one day, but I didn't really want to sqaush these two together because they are very different. On Saturday morning we were very busy. We went to the baptism of a good little friend of ours then afterwards Dan and the kids came with me while I took a test for my Audiology class. (I did better than I thought I would...yay.) After that we did some shopping, and finally dragged them home to eat some lunch. So it's no surprise I guess when I walked into the kitchen after laying Ellie down to find this.....
Later that afternoon I put a new table cloth on the table and noticed that it matched Ellie's outfit perfectly. Dan and I actually lost her under the table for a few seconds because she blended in so well! Anyway, it was cute, so of course...more pictures. I messed around with these ones on photoshop. What do you think? This was the first time Ellie has actually eaten a real apple. This picture is her first bite, and the next is her reaction.
I was so busy shooting that I didn't pay attention and Ellie went a little crazy with the apple bites.
Even later that afternoon, Logan decided to make a farm. He drew all of the fruit and vegtable gardens himself! He even pulled out an old farmer's hat. He always makes me laugh.
And finally....even later....Owen and his peas. It was feeling very late by this point. Owen has NEVER liked vegetables. I used to offer him an entire bowl of ice cream just to eat one pea and would turn me down every time. So, I decided that enough is enough and he WILL eat at least one spoon full of vegetables a day. It has been a rough couple of days, but I hope he'll catch on soon. Poor guy. That's all the food shots I have for now!

The old Kanigan eating boot camp has begun. I can still thank you guys for getting Leah to eat chicken while we were in Ireland. Hey I went to call you today and realized I don't have your phone number in my new phone. My old one got lost along with all my numbers.
Aww... peas! For now Addie loves veggies but I can't get her to eat much meat other than steak or fast food nuggets...
I love the pictures of Ellie and the apples, cute!
I love Logan's farm. He is such a creative kid. I also like the first picture of Owen. Sweet worn out guy! Keep that picture to remember his "innocence" when he gets a hold of another cellphone, laptop, etc. =0)
Eww... Audiology, I hated that class! Good luck! Do you have Dr. Laws or Dr. Larsen?
Those pictures are so stinking cute! I love the one where Owen is asleep at the table. Those make for the sweetest pictures. And Ellie eating her first apple is cute too. And I love Logan's farm! :) He's so creative!
You never fail me when I wonder over to your blog, I always can expect a nice dose of beautifully taken pictures of precious children. You capture the essence of their preciousness so well. :) I SERIOUSLY think you would do very well as a professional photographer!! Have you opened your business yet?! :)
Wht are yo studying? I love the stacked apples and the farmland - brilliant! And, as far as the veggies, I have a little man just lik that. I've been trying to sneak in pureed veggies into everything I make, "Deliciously Deceptive" style!
