I have been thinking a lot lately about what I would tell someone who asked about my faith. Where would I even start? I know that the word "Mormon" carries a different perception depending on who is hearing it and what they have learned about my church. (whether its true or not!) Those who are raised in the Mormon church usually prefer the term, Latter-Day-Saint, or LDS, but really it's the same thing. Our religion holds many beautiful and surprisingly simple truths, but the one truth that I am most grateful for is eternal families. I was sent this blog link tonight by my sister-in-law and I think it sums it up very well. It is sad, but filled with my faith. I hope some of you will take the time to read it, it will explain one of the fundamental truths we believe, and something that makes us who we are.

Becki - thanks.
Becki - is this family close to you? That is the saddest thing and my heart is broken for them. I am thankful for my faith as well, although it has never been tried like theirs has.
Lisa- No I don't know the family, but my heart completly broke for them too! I felt like I should share their testimony. Thanks for your comment!
It was sad for them! It made me appreciate being a mom all that more and grateful for the gospel!! Thanks for sharing!
