De Ja Vu

If it seems like you seen this post before, don't worry, you are not going crazy. I posted some pics similar to these a few months ago, but Ellie is growing and changing so fast, I wanted to update what she's up to. I really can't keep up with her. It blows my mind how quickly she's gone from infant to nearly a toddler! It's a happy/sad emotion.

Ellie loves her crib. I like to think of it as her happiest place on earth. Disneyland dwindles in comparision. :) She lights up at the phrase, "night, night!" I think her crib is a sanctuary away from the crazy boys she has to live with. She loves them, but still needs a break every now and then! She has also recently developed a love for her stuffed pink elephant and bear. (Residents of her sanctuary.) She clings to them when we take her out, then crawls around the house with one in each hand. It's pretty remarkable actually.

Which reminds me....I've decided that one of the saddest things in the world is seeing a crawling baby trip. There they are, crawling around, taking in their surrounding, when one arm buckles, or slides on a wet spot and they face plant it. It really doesn't seem fair. Ellie has tripped once or twice this week and just keeps going, so at least it's not holding her back. :)

Back to what she's up to. She is now pulling herself to a standing position without help. We've cheered her on so much that now she'll stand up and stare at us till we look her way and when she's caught our attention she smiles big, drops to her bottom and claps for herself. She really is very proud of all her accomplishments! She's eating almost all solids now. She loves milk. She adores her brothers, but knows how to tell them to back off. She's babbling a lot and loves her daddy!

Here are the pics from today. I tried to take them from some different angles because I've noticed that Ellie never looks at anything "normally". She'll turn upside down and sideways to get a better look at her world. Her crib is where she rolls around and shoves things in her mouth the most. I love these pics! I get all happy just looking at them. She is an angel.

I love the second to last one where she has her mouth on the crib and you can see her name above it. But they are all cute, because she is precious. She is getting so big! Time is just going by too fast! :)
