Catching Up Again

It's been a long time since my last post...for me anyway. I've been so busy trying to keep up with kids, school, house, sickness, birthdays and everything else going on, I haven't had as much time as I'd like to blog. I am getting a ton done though, and I know that school will pay off in the long run. I'm just stretched about as far as I can go I think.
Since my last post a few fun things have happened. The first and most important is that Ellie turned one! We had to cancel her little birthday party because our entire family (excluding Dan....lucky guy) got sick, but we still made her a little pink cake and had fun watching her open presents!
Another exciting thing is that Dan and I are now officially getting healthy. We've joined with some of his family in a little contest. We have to exercise everyday, drink an elephants portion of water, and watch what we eat. It's been going great so far. I'm very excited!

Yet another fun thing was that I got my haircut......short! I'm still getting used to it, but it's so nice having the weight off my shoulders! If anyone wants a good hairstylist, I really liked the girl who cut mine. Her name is Casey and she works for the Allure Salon down by the Parkway mall. She was very sweet.
Lets see, we're buying a new van this weekend and that's about it. Linc cut his hair by himself again this week, Owen broke the DVD player again, Ellie is in the pull everything off the book shelf phase, and Logan is doing great with his homework and piano. I haven't had to fight him to get things done lately, so that has been very nice!
I guess that's our update. Here are some pics to go along with everything. I know there are a ton, but really, I haven't posted in a while so I had to catch up! :) I had fun taking pics of O and Linc yesterday while Logan was at school. They are starting to play so well together!

Opening Birthday Presents!

Ellie's first princess/barbie! Of course the first thing Owen did was lift up Snow Whites dress to see what was underneath! ahh boy.

I just liked how her little bum was up as she was crawling through the mass of presents and paper in this picture.

'The cake!' (don't you just love the tea candle? I think we did that with Lincs cake too. I need to be more organized so I'll remember to put birthday candles on my shopping list!

This odd looking guy is Kit Fisto. Owen picked him out last time he filled up his sticker chart and hasn't put him down since. My boys always pick a new Star Wars toy when they fill up their charts. We're getting a pretty good collection of them now.

Crosse eyed Linc. Don't you love how kids stick things right up in your face when they want to show you something? I'm cross eyed about fifty percent of the time around here!

Linc has about ten favorite animals. He likes to carry all of them around. Each of them have a name, birthday and personality. He has a very big imagination!

He take good care of them!

Sweetie. Oh, and notice the hair? We had to shave it completely after his own personal hair cut. When we asked him why he cut his hair, he just looked at us completely seriously and said, "because it was getting too long." Okay then. Can't argue with that!
