Twenty-minute Shower

One of the things I love about Alabama are the rain showers. The sky's will be relatively clear one moment, and full of thunder-clouds the next. This afternoon we had about twenty minutes of seriously down pouring rain. There wasn't any lightening and thunder, so I let the boys play out in the back and splash and scream and play and pretty much just get soaked. They had a blast. The light wasn't very good for action shots, but I did get them to squash their heads together for a minute so I could get their wet little faces. They sure love each other when they want to!

Southern rain storms are crazy! How fun to be a kid and go play in it and not have a care in the world!

Looks like fun! It reminds me of being a kid and playing in the rain. :)

My favorite too! My kids however don't seem to understand how fun it can be... instead they HAVE to use an umbrella in the chance they might get wet. :[
