Better

Okay, so yesterday did end up much better than it started! The boys chilled out after lunch and actually played really well for the rest of the day. It was a long one, but in the end I got to hang out on the couch with Dan doing absolutely nothing for a change, so it was very nice. I love my husband, he's such a great guy! Anyway, enough of the mushy stuff. I wanted to post a few pictures I took yesterday. Before doing that I have to mention that I am well aware of the pathetic state of my lawn. The back yard is worse than the front, but dandelions have taken over. My poor neighbors. I think it might be time to invest in a lawn care company cause we just can't keep up on it on our own. Ah well, at least the kids love them. I remember the day when a field of dandelions was heaven to me, so maybe we'll just say that they are all for the kids! That sounds good. Here come the pics I like.....Ellie was fascinated by them.

Glad your day turned out better! Addie loves the weeds too, so we don't do anything to get rid of them! :)

Just so everyone knows, I didn't let Ellie actually EAT any, there was a lot of shoot the picture, then flick the dandelion out of the mouth as fast as possible action going on. :) Although, I did read once that in the old days the kids used to suck the milk out of them. yuck! Ellie would have been game for that. :)

Weeds are the devil. I swear, the plague of mankind. I love Ellie's hairbow in these, so cute. I hope the kids granted you mercy and decided to cooperate for a little while... call me for a Pride and Prejudice time out any day.
