Today I pulled out Ellie's little tutu and tried it on her. It was given to her by her Aunt Shauny and Uncle Abel before she was born (Thank you!) and I have been anxious to see her in it. when I tried it on her I got that giddy "I have a little girl!" feeling. She looked so cute that I had to run for my camera. I hadn't planned on doing a photoshoot, but as usual I did. :) Ellie kept grabbing the skirt and shoving it in her mouth...so cute!
It was just brought to my attention that my new 50mm lens won't auto focus with my Nikon D40x. (Thanks for your help Theresa!) Anyway, so I am going to hold out and some day upgrade my camera. Until then I will get a lot of shots like this when I use it. I still love it, so it's worth it!

This shot was taken on auto because it was getting too dark. I love Ellie's searching face. She is so busy! She scoots and turns on her tummy like crazy these days. I have the feeling she'll be crawling soon.

I do love me a tutu. Those pictures are killer cute. Oh, and the pictures of your kids in front of your black board, and Ellie standing at the window turned out awesome, too. What a beautiful family!
